Makino's a51 features a fast spindle response that shortens machining times for parts and components made of light alloys and cast iron. The well-balanced support system enhances cutting capabilities in the uppermost region of the machining range. Rigid machine construction supports high acceleration performance. Three-point support system for quick installation. The task of achieving the highest possible production efficiency and quality within a limited time frame is a constant challenge for the shop floor. The Haas VF-9 vertical machining centre has 2134 x 1016 x 762 mm xyz travels and is built using all American-made cast-iron components. Like every Haas machine, the VF-9 represents years of ongoing refinement. Customer feedback coupled with the relentless pursuit of perfection sees advancements and design-enhancing changes incorporated directly into the production line every day. The Haas VF-9 is a rugged, large VMC that yields reliability and accuracy in a large-framed machine. The VF-9 has a 40-taper cartridge spindle driven by a 30 hp vector Dual-Drive (Y-Delta) drive.
